Tennessee Valley Authority and EVITP are pleased to offer training stipends to support qualified electricians in the TVA Service Territory who successfully complete the EVITP course and exam.
This program is active until December 2026 or until funding is exhausted.
Training stipends of $775.00 per qualified electrician will be awarded on a first come, first served basis upon completion of both the EVITP course and exam. All stipends are in the form of reimbursement post course work and exam.
Individual electricians may submit for a Training Stipend OR Electrical Contractors may submit on behalf of qualified electricians in their employ.
Follow these steps to apply and receive reimbursement:
Step 1: Register for EVITP
Submit credentials (license or proof of 8,000 hours of electrical work)
Step 2: Complete payment link to access course
May be completed by Individual or Contractor
Charged $275.00
Step 3: Successfully Complete Course and schedule online proctored exam
All fully online. Passing grade for EVITP course and exam is 70%.
Step 4: Receive EVITP Certification Number
Certification number is generated by EVITP and emailed to you.
Step 5: Visit Reimbursement Page
You will need your EVITP Certification Number. May be completed by Individual or Contractor.
